The leader of a worldwide Muslim movement with thousands of followers in the UK is due to issue a fatwa – or Islamic religious ruling – condemning terrorism and warning suicide bombers that they are “destined for hell”.
The 600-page fatwa announces that “suicide bombings and attacks against civilian targets are not only condemned by Islam, but render the perpetrators totally out of the fold of Islam, in other words, to be unbelievers”.
A dedicated website contain mores information, and anyone who is concerned about Terrorism should try to read and make sense of what is been said. Largely the Muslim population in the UK condemn terrorism and killing of innocent civilians, this fatwa will now support them and create a foundation for further discussion.

In this last week, I have had two people unrelated to each other recommend me to read ‘Confessions of an Economic Hit Man’ by John Perkins and have used the words ‘must read’ and ‘very important’. Although the book is not in my possession yet, I believe I should have this book in the next few days. Like always, I usually Google the book or the author just to get an understanding of the reviews, and so far admittedly people seem to be pay attention and recommending it.
One I have read the book, I shall write my own opinion and review here (expect it, towards the end of Jan).
Meanwhile, I have come across some videos (interviews) from the Author John Perkins. I have realised that Confessions of an Economic Hit Man is one of many books written by the author, and interestingly the author is in the process in writing another similar book but taking into account stories from other Economic Hit Men.
I have added these videos here and you can also find them under the ‘Must See Videos’ section of my blog. Although I’m trying to restrict myself at this stage in not to comment on the videos until after I have read the book, it seems hard not to add few words after my initial research.
Although the book was published in 2004, it seems much what was said has unfortunately been proved correct, especially about the economic meltdown and credit crisis. One thing that really surprises me the author’s confessions of knowing assassinations of the country leaders would follow should he fail in his job, and I’m surprises that governmental pressures or other pressures from world leaders have not stopped John Perkins in making these claims. Oh well I will need to read the book carefully once I have it.
For now, please enjoy the following videos:
